Why has my transaction been declined?
There are a number of reasons why you may experience a decline when making a payment with your card. The most common reasons for a declined transaction are:
- There may have been a connectivity issue between us and the merchant. You can retry making the payment by removing the card details and reentering them to complete the transaction.
- The card is not compatible with the merchants payments platform. If this happens, you will may need to pay with a different card.
- We may have blocked your transaction for security purposes. We may not always be able to tell you why your transaction has been blocked.
- Your transaction will be declined if insufficient funds to complete the purchase. You will need to top up your card.
Why cant I see a declined transaction in my transaction history?
A declined transaction does not appear in your transaction history.
